                                                                RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS


Rhythmic gymnastics is a beautiful, graceful yet challenging sport which helps develop clean elegant lines and beautiful body techniques. Take part in a dynamic and compelling female Olympic Sport that promotes physical fitness, confidence, good posture, elegance, strength, flexibility, coordination, balance and endurance.


Rhythmic gymnastics combines the athletic grace of artistic gymnastics and ballet through choreographed dance and performance with colorful ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes and clubs. Routines performed to music (60 to 90 sec) must show high leaps and jumps, multiple turns, balances (least 3 sec), pre-acrobatic elements, and flexibility. These skills must be performed in combination with constant movement of the apparatus, requiring body/hand-eye coordination.

-Nicky has been chosen for the September 2010 pre-Youth Elite Squad camp in Lake Placid, NY! 


-Congratulations to Crystal, Nicky, Irene & Donna at the 2010 Junior Olympics Championships in Chicago! Crystal placed 7th in rope & 8th all-around and Nicky placed 10th in ribbon & 18th all-around and Donna and Irene placed 34th & 38th all around respectively, out of 60 girls in level 7! Great job girls!

  1. -Irene, Nicky, Crystal, Margarita, and Catherine competed in the Colorado Rhythmic Challenge on February 11-13! Nicky & Crystal tied for 5th place in All-Around & Crystal placed 2nd in rope & Nicky placed 3rd in ribbon out of all level 7 competitors!
